Geraldine A Bryant

Geraldine A. Bryant 78, passed away Monday, October 17, 2011. She was born in Burnsville, N.C., in 1932, to Fred Adkins and Bertha Deyton Adkins. Geraldine enjoyed bowling in the Lexington JC Bowling League, she enjoyed riding motorcycles and listening to her IPOD. Geraldine also enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was devoted to her husband, family and her church and she was known to everyone as “NANNY”.

Geraldine was predeceased by her husband, Jesse L. Bryant who was a veteran of WWII, Korea and Vietnam Wars. Surviving are her daughters, Debbra Shuey and her husband, Daniel, Jan Carter and her husband, Rick. Grandchildren, Chris and Bryan Rogers, Jessica Ferrin, Stacy Horner and Bubba Carter. Great- grandchildren, Jesse, Kaleb, Stephen, Aaron, Nate, Kaity, Ashleigh, CC, Andrew and Cameron.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Hulon Baptist Church, 133 Hulon Baptist Church Road, Batesburg, SC 29006 with inurnment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Palmetto Health Hospice PO Box 7275 Columbia, SC 29202.
