WEST COLUMBIA - Funeral services for Gloria Wood Harman, 75, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The service will be conducted by Rev. John Culp. Honorary Pallbears will be the members of Minnie Shull Circle and Friendship Sunday School Class. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
Mrs. Harman was born in Columbia, SC and passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2013. She was a daughter of the late James Lawrence Wood and Ruth Lee Wood. Mrs. Harman was a member of the Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church, Friendship Sunday School Class and Minnie Shull Circle.
Survivors are her husband, T. A. Harman; son, Al Harman (Lisa); sister, Linda Wood; grandchild, Megan Harman and step mother, Mildred Wood. She was predeceased by her parents.
