Grace A McCaston

LEXINGTON - Grace A. McCaston, 82, died Tuesday, December 23, 2014, peacefully at her home. She was the daughter of the late Henry R. Anderson and Lizzie Bell Whittle Anderson. She was born in Leesville, SC and was married to the late Wallace R. McCaston. She retired from Aetna Life and Casualty and spent her remaining years enjoying being the mother, grandmother and aunt to both family and everyone that knew her.

Mrs. McCaston is survived by her sons, David and Reggie McCaston; brothers, H.R. (Christine) Anderson, Cecil (Carolyn) Anderson; five grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; one great-great- grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband; son, Steven R. McCaston; sisters, Eva a Taylor, Lula Broome, and Ruby Dooley Schumpert.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 26, 2014 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Service will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with burial to follow in Lexington Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Children Hospital, 950 West Faris Rd., Greenville, SC or St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Lexington, SC.
