Harold Victor Jumper

LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Harold Victor Jumper, 79, of Lexington, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Corpus Christi Catholic Church.

Mr. Jumper was born August 6, 1936 in Lexington, SC and passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016. He was the son of the late Philip Jumper and Audlee Roland Jumper. Harold was a founding member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church. He served our country in the United States Navy. He retired after 33 years as an Industrial Electrician for Allied Chemical.

Harold is survived by, his wife, Rosemary Brophey Jumper; daughter, Susan Smith of Lexington; sons, Mike Jumper (Ginger) of Lexington, Joe Jumper (Debbie) of Myrtle Beach; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Glenn Jumper (Betsy); sisters, Betty Gleaton of West Columbia, Judy White (Johnny) of South Congree; sister-in-law, Lois Jumper of Lexington and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a grandson, Michael “Bunky” Smith and a brother, Bobby Jumper. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Henry Martin.
