COLUMBIA – Helen Mosley Gunter, 81, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2011.
Mrs. Gunter was born on October 3, 1930. She was a daughter of the late Pearl and John Mosley, and wife to the late Levon Gunter.
Mrs. Gunter is survived by her daughters Evon McAngus (Hugh), Peggy Boykin (Darrell), Faye Gunter, and Janie Hill; son, Henry Gunter (Tressa); sixteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, one sister and three brothers.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, November 4, 2011 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. A private service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Our Fallen Soldiers, P O Box 131593, Carlsbad, California 92013.
