This has been a very difficult week for our family. Two mothers gone in one week. While our hearts break there is also a lifetime of beautiful memories they left us. Aunt Helen was a woman of strong faith. When I felt I may not have enough faith, she had enough for me as well. She prayed with me many times. I remember driving home from the hospital one evening which was a 30 minute drive. Our hearts were worried and sad. She prayed with us over the phone the entire ride home. We all chuckled many times at Thanksgiving as we worried food would get cold before her prayer was done. As long as it was, we wouldn't have changed it for the world. It showed her strong faith and love for all of us. I had the fortune of a long conversation with her Christmas night. As was normal with her the call ended with her saying "Scott, you know I love you". I was so blessed for those to be her last words to me. I will miss that so much!
Aunt Helen, you know I love you.. and always will.

Helen always had a story. I could & did listen to her for hours. Gayle Ward, Jerri Thompson & I use to pick up lunch & head for Helen’s house to eat. She would provide drinks & we would provide lunch. Great times. Missed her so much when she moved to Columbia but knew her sweet family would take care of her perfectly. They certainly did. Bob would drive her up once in a while to meet a group of the Love Ladles at some restaurant . Bob you are the best son-in-law any of us have experienced! God bless you all; we know how much you will miss her. You can feel blessed knowing that you took great care of your very special Mom. Love our Helen!

My dear sweet Mama ❤️. No words can describe the mother you have been to me. You have loved me unconditionally, taught me that Jesus is my refuge and salvation and that as I live and breathe I will see you again. As you now reside in your permanent home in the presence of our Lord I will forever miss you until we meet again. With my heart and soul I love you eternally. You've worked hard for your reward now sing with the angels.
All my love,
Donna Lynn
