Jacqueline "Jackie" Lee Batte

Born on September 26, 1975, Jackie built a successful career as a dedicated real estate agent. She understood that the effort she put in directly impacted the reward she received, a principle that guided her not only in her professional life but also as a mother. Her greatest pride and joy were her three children, Victoria, Samantha, and Jacob. Her love for them was fierce and unwavering; they were truly her world.

Jackie’s creative spirit shone through her hobbies. She found peace and joy in the rhythm of crocheting, the discovery of a new treasure while thrifting, and the quiet concentration of drawing. A lover of both nature and good company, she was equally at home on the beach, in the mountains, or with a dirty martini in hand.

Predeceased by her parents, Jackie is survived by her three children: Victoria Rain Batte (age 26), Samantha Sade Freeman (age 21), and Jacob James Henry Freeman (age 14). She also leaves behind her best friend, Tomas Huntley, whom her children affectionately call "Uncle." Their friendship, spanning almost three decades, was a testament to her loyalty and capacity for deep connection.

Jackie will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her unwavering work ethic, and the boundless love she had for her three beautiful children and for her friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 31, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home - Lexington Chapel, 503 North Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29072. Following visitation, the family will hold a small, graveside memorial service at 4:00 PM at Dust to Dust Cemetery, 205 Nulty Crossing Road, Swansea, SC 29160.
