

LEXINGTON - James Thomas Fetner, Jr., 90, of Lexington, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018. He was born January 28, 1928 in Columbia, SC to the late, James Thomas Fetner, Sr. and Alyce Lucille Nunn Fetner.
Mr. Fetner retired from Anchor Continental/Intertape Polymer Group. He volunteered at the SC Railroad Museum and Red Bank United Methodist Church. He loved serving the Lord, his church and his family.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Hendrix Fetner of Lexington, SC; children, Holly Fetner of Columbia, SC, Rita Snyder (James Stroot) of Charlotte, NC, Tommy Fetner (Missy) of Magazine, AR, Bill Knot (Natalie) of Columbia, SC, Beth Ray (Victor) of Chatanooga, TN; David Knott (Janet) of Mobile, AL; daughter-in-law, Amy Bott of Easley, SC; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and sister-in-law, Violet Fetner. He was preceded in death by a son, Kenny Knott and brother, Charles Fetner.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Red Bank United Methodist Church with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial may be made to the South Carolina Railroad Museum, 110 Industrial Park Rd., Winnsboro, SC 29180 or Red Bank United Methodist Church, 2909 Old Barnwell Rd., Lexington, SC 29073.
