Mr. Ward proudly served for 23 years in the US Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Frances “Denise” Ward of Gaston, SC; daughters, Cyndi Sherrard (Danny) of Ladson, SC, Stacey Ward (Joey Calvert) of Gaston, SC, Elizabeth Norris of Indian Land, SC; son, Jeffery Ward of Ladson, SC and grandchildren, Colby and Wylie Sherrard and Stella and Colten Calvert.
He was predeceased by a sister, Wyleen Ward Shaylor and brothers, William A. Ward and Carroll E. Ward.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Lexington Church of God. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
