Jannie Ruth Jordan

LEXINGTON - Jannie Ruth Wingard Jordan, 78, was born December 23, 1935 in Irmo, SC. She was the daughter of the late John Colie Wingard, Sr. and Lizzie Caroline Meetze Wingard. She was the wife of the late Jimmy Lawrence Jordan and was a member of Cornerstone Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Jordan is survived by sons, Philip Ivy Jordan and wife Sherie of Little Mountain, Terry Lawrence “Larry” Jordan, Sr., Jimmy Aulderman Jordan and wife Annette and Philip Ivy “Phil” Jordan, Jr. all of Lexington; grandchildren, Stephanie Jean Jordan, Terry Lawrence Jordan, Jr., Ryan Colie Jordan, Ashley Grace Jordan and Drake Alexander Jordan; great-grandchildren, Jacob Brandon Lee, Jamison Rish, Jessica, Brayden and Levi Jordan; a brother, John Colie “Johnnie” Wingard and wife Claudia; sister, Darlene Patricia Wingard of Lexington; nieces, Carol Epps and Tracy Ellis; nephews, Eddie Epps and Jay Wingard.

Along with her parents and husband, a sister, Florence Ann Epps, husband, Eddie and daughter, Beth Epps preceded her in death.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 28, 2014 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with burial in Bush River memorial Gardens. Visitation for family and friends will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
