Jean Hoffman

LEXINGTON - Jean Rollins Hoffman, 87, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2013 in Lexington, SC. Mrs. Hoffman was born on January 24, 1926 in Carbon Hill, AL. She is survived by her husband, David Hoffman; children, Gerald (Jaylyn) Rollins, Joseph Neal (Barbara) Rollins, Susan Hoffman (Mike) Jones, Lee Ann Hoffman, Lynn Hoffman (David) Vandevort, David T. (Joan) Hoffman, III; sister, Yvonne (Harvey) Porter; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Norman Sandlin and Bobby Sandlin and son, John William "Jack" Rollins.

Mrs. Hoffman loved the Lord and strived every day to make her life a living example of The Gospel. She was a beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She loved her family with all her heart and nothing made her happier than to cook for a house full of people. She was a passionate reader and a life-long supporter of the Republican Party.

Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family. Plans will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
