LEXINGTON – A memorial service for Jeanette Teresa Ayers, 76, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2012 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Agape Hospice, 141 Stoneridge Drive, Columbia, SC 29210.
Mrs. Ayers was born July 3, 1935 in Providence, Rhode Island and passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2012. She was a daughter of the late Joseph E. Dionne and Delina Robidoux Dionne. She was a member of B&L Congregational Holiness Church. Mrs. Ayers was a retired seamstress.
She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Ayers of Lexington; daughter, Marcia Olson of New York; sons, David Potter of Gaston, Joey Potter of New York, Allen Potter of Florida; brother, Edward Dionne of Rhode Island; sister, Lorraine Guzzetti of Tampa, Florida; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; niece, Sherry Ayers and nephew, Billy Ayers.
