Jeffrey was a mechanic by trade, but did a little of everything. He had the biggest heart when it came to children and animals. He would give you the shirt off his back if he saw that you needed it more. He was a people-person. He could make you laugh till your sides hurt and tears running down your face from laughing so hard. He loved his family dearly. He might not express it verbally, but his actions proved his love. He was an avid fisherman and boater. He loved being outdoors in nature.
He is survived by his wife, Allison Bruster Ellison, and stepchildren, Briana and Daniel Bruster, & dogs, Redd and Carrie; his mother and stepfather, Linda and Doodle Pound; his son, Coleman Ellison and family; his sisters, Robin Kyzer and husband James Kyzer and their children; Tammy Cathey and husband Ken Cathey and daughter; and Sherrie Ellison and her children, and their families.
He was predeceased by his father, Robert Ellison; his nephew, Chase Cathey; and other family that went before him.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home – Lexington, 503 North Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29072.
