January 4, 1942 - November 19, 2025
It is with broken hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Jerilynn Hutchins Crepeau of Colorado Spring, CO. She left us suddenly and peacefully while visiting for the Thanksgiving holiday. She had been looking forward to time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren—moments she cherished more than anything.
Known throughout her life by many names—Mom, Tootie, Grannie, Gurnie, Aunt, friend, and most recently by her husband as “boss”—she filled every role with warmth, humor, and unwavering love.
She was the perfect mix of fun-loving and tough, a balance that made her the steady center of our family. Jerilynn had a rare gift for listening—truly listening—and she served as a counselor to many who needed comfort, clarity, or simply someone who cared. She made friends wherever she went, and more beautifully, she kept them. She grew up in Fenton, Michigan with her late parents Jack and Julie and late brother, Tip Hutchins. Later she moved to many different states across the country. No matter where she went, her friendships held strong and lifelong.
Jerilynn leaves behind her husband, Ken and her children Theresa (Donnie LeJohn) and Mike (Barb) Crepeau. Her grandchildren Sydney (Ben Murphy), Morgan (Mark Parrish), Allie (Robbie Gleaton), and Julia LeJohn, Andreas, Magnus, and Mason Crepeau. Matthew LeJohn and Lauren (Steven Houston). And her great grandchildren Ransom and Leo Parrish, and baby-to-be Murphy.
If you are reading this, you already know you are considered part of our family. We invite you to join us in celebrating her life at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home.
