Jessica Lynn Smith

Born in a blizzard on February 14, 1978, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Jessica was the beloved daughter of Julie Lawrence (David) and Patrick Smith.

Jessica had a creative spirit and a deep appreciation for beauty and imagination. She enjoyed painting, creating jewelry, writing poetry, and reading classic literature. She was an avid collector of How to Train Your Dragon memorabilia and had a special fondness for sloths and unicorns, which reflected her playful personality and unique sense of wonder. Jessica also had a great love for dogs of every kind, and they held a special place in her heart throughout her life.

Jessica will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, her infectious laugh, and her thoughtful ability to find the perfect card for every occasion. She had a gift for making people smile and brought warmth and laughter into the lives of those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her mother, Julie Lawrence; her stepfather, David Lawrence; her father, Patrick Smith; her stepsisters, Dana (David) and Jackie (Steve); and her stepbrother, Jonathan (Melissa). She will also be deeply missed by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Jessica will be honored during a private Celebration of Life on July 24, 2026.
