LEXINGTON - A graveside service for John J. “J.J.” Buckley, 80, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday May 4, 2013 in Woodridge Memorial Park. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements..

Mr. Buckley was born February 9, 1933 in Staten Island, NY and passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2013. He was a son of the late James and Mary Agnes Dannecker Buckley. He served his country 20 years in the United States Army in Korea and Vietnam. He also retired from the United States Post Office.

Mr. Buckley is survived by his son, John James (Julie H.) Buckley, Jr. of Cayce, SC, Dale B. Rowland (Glynn Goforth) of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Jason David (Amber S.) Buckley, Jennifer Olive Buckley and Jessica Geneva Buckley; great-grandchildren, Paige Denise Buckley and Kaitee Lynn Buckley and sister, Margaret Briggs of Columbia. He was predeceased by his wife, Geneva Rish Buckley; grandchild, Karin R. Cook; brother, Joseph Buckley and sister, Rose Ferrara.
