GILBERT– Funeral services for John C. Phillips, 54, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Phillips was born March 29, 1963 in Nanticoke, PA and passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017. He was the son of John C. Phillips and Mabel Haughwout. He worked as a Foreman in the field of Fire Protection for over 20 years. He was an avid Gamecock and Miami Dolphins fan. He loved fishing, enjoyed bird watching and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Tina and their two children, Zach and Alex; his brothers, Wayne and Roger Simpson; sisters, Rita Simpson, Ruth Phillips and Debra Lawson; aunt, Charlotte Smith; uncles, Charles and Clark Titus and several nieces and nephews.
