John M. Shirey

LEXINGTON – Funeral services for John Mark Shirey, 39, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2011 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with interment in Woodridge Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Darrell Bentley, Steve and Corey Steele, Gary Dove, Matt Wilkes and George Harmon. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, May 8. 2011.

Mr. Shirey was born May 24, 1971 in Lexington, SC and passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2011. He was a son of Rockey Shirey, Sr. and Dianna Bellamy. He was the owner of Shirey’s Home Improvement Team.

Mr. Shirey is survived by his wife, Mary Amerson Shirey of Lexington; sons, John Mark Shirey, II and Jason Michael Shirey; brother, Rockey Shirey, Jr.; sister, Mandy Steele; 9 nephews; 8 nieces and 2 great-nieces; father and step mother, Rockey Shirey, Sr. and Mary; mother and step father, Dianne Bellamy and Johnny; work family, Steve, Corey, Darrell, Matt, Gary and George of Lexington and John Graham of Smoaks, SC. He was predeceased by a sister, Angela Cislo.
