LEXINGTON – Funeral service for Jonathan Clark Langford, 29, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at East Side Baptist Church, 325 Mill St., Batesburg, SC 29006. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

Memorials may be made to Florence Country Club Junior Golf Program, 450 Country Club Blvd,

Florence, SC 29501.

Jonathan was born July 15, 1986 in Austell, GA and passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016. He graduated from Lexington High School in 2004 and from the San Diego Golf Academy in Myrtle Beach in 2008. In 2014 he earned his PGA Card. He started his career at Lexington Country Club then moved to Florence where he was a PGA Golf Professional and Director of Junior Golf. He was a mentor to young people learning the game and also about life. He enjoyed photography and was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan.

He is survived by his parents, Mark and Laura Langford of Lexington; sister, Stephanie Langford of Lexington; grandmother, Frieda V. Langford of Lexington; aunt, Nancy Stone of Athens, GA; cousins, Tucker and Ben Stone and Amy Lopp and his beloved dog, Jet.

Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
