CHAPIN – A memorial service for Jonathan R. Morgan, 53, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, April 3, 2017 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home Lexington Chapel. Mr. Morgan was born October 30, 1963 in Georgetown, OH and passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017,
at his home under the care of Hospice.
Mr. Morgan is predeceased by his parents, Virginia Truitt and Jacob Rider, and sister, Diana Sue Morgan Boone. Mr. Morgan leaves his wife, Helen Morgan, daughters, Amy R. Hortonand Erica Morgan, Step-son, Richard Mathers Step-daughter, Kimberly Mathers, Sisters, Melinda Camery and Sherry Morgan Boone and grandchildren, Valerie Barrow, Kelsey Barrow, Zayden Mathers, Anthony Barrow and Kimberly Grace Mathers.
Mr. Morgan was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was retired from Con-Way Freight of Savannah, GA where he was a nationally awarded, professional driver. As a comfort to the family, a memory tree will be available at the service for guests to leave words of encouragement, scripture or memories of Mr. Morgan.
