LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Julie Ann Allen Koon, 42, will be held at 12:15 Monday, November 27, 2017 at Pisgah Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pisgah Lutheran Church or South Carolina Lutheran Synod Growing God’s Mission
Mrs. Koon was born November 22, 1975 in Columbia, SC and passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017. She was an Administrative Assistant for South Carolina Lutheran Synod office and a member of Pisgah Lutheran Church. Julie was a devoted wife and mother. She graduated from Dutch Fork High School and was a devoted “soccer mom”.
Surviving are her husband, James Ray Koon; sons, Kendall Thomas Koon and Jacob Ryan Koon who she loved dearly; mother, Betty Leviner Anderson (John); father, Thomas E. Allen; sister, Susan Allen Herring (Craig); niece, Olivia Herring; nephews, Evan and Allen Herring; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
