He was a loving and caring father, son, brother and friend to all of those around him. He was a true mama's boy. He prayed daily and loved watching all his favorite TV shows and church shows on Sundays. He loved getting his hands dirty working on cars, being one of the best mechanics around back in the day.
Surviving are his children, Kayla, Keri, & Kaylee Dowd; mother, Marie D. Padgett; father, Howard J. Dowd; sister, Cindy Morris; half sister, Natalie Dowd Crumpton (Mark); niece, Jessica Morris & nephew, Nicholas Fenn; along with 9 grandchildren, Aaliyah, Trinity, Konner, Kiley, Jocelyn, Keelan, McKailyn, Kali, & Kashlynn. He will be reunited with his late daughter, Karlee Dowd and brother, Lamont Medlin.
A Memorial gathering for Kevin will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home - Lexington Chapel, 503 N. Lake Dr, Lexington, South Carolina 29072.
