Kimberly was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Baggott; her stepson, Matthew Baggott; and her parents, Bob Hulsey and Margie Brown.
Kimberly devoted her working life to the care and well-being of others, serving as a registered nurse in the Special Care Nursery at Lexington Medical Center until retiring after close to 25 years. She considered it a profound privilege to have played a part in caring for countless premature babies, and she especially treasured the later visits—when healthy children and their parents returned to see the nurses who had once watched over them. She later continued her career in healthcare service and oversight, working 20 more years as a Supervisor Medical Review at Blue Cross / Palmetto GBA before retiring. Throughout her years of service, she carried herself with steady professionalism, quiet strength, and a deep respect for the lives entrusted to her care.
Kimberly greatly enjoyed time with her family, going on cruises, and her beloved dog, Rebel—simple joys that reflected the warmth she brought to the people and moments she held close.
Kimberly is survived by her daughter, Katie Baggott Nuno (Steven), and stepdaughter, Jennifer Baggott-Gil. (Ramon). She is also survived by her three brothers, Wes Hulsey, Joe Hulsey (Marcy), and John Hulsey (Christen).
She is further survived by her brothers-in-law, Terry Baggott and Claude Baggott (Angela); step granddaughters, Kathleen Baggott and Madison Baggott; and step-great-grandchildren, Emerson and Aria. She is also survived by nephews including Joseph Hulsey, Jack Hulsey, Zack Baggott, Josiah Hulsey, Seth Baggott, and Justin Hulsey.
