Krista Michelle Caulder

Krista Michelle Caulder entered into rest July 24, 2025. She is survived by her daughter; Laken Caulder; grandsons, Ryder and Rylan Rudd; her mother, Linda Raye Arant, stepfather, Randy Arant; brothers, Eric and Troy (Cece) Caulder; nephew, Dallas Caulder; niece, Kiana Caulder; great-nephews, Brysen and Donovan Roberts; and long-term partner, Gregory King.

Krista was a South Carolina native, born and raised in Columbia. She attended Irmo High School and graduated in 1991. She earned her Associates of Science in Nursing from Midlands Technical College. She began her professional journey as a Surgical Trauma ICU nurse and eventually transferred into continuing care at InterMedical Hospital. During her career, she was loved and respected by her colleagues and patients as a compassionate and very competent nurse.

In recent years, Krista was challenged with chronic health problems that left her in a lot of pain and disabled. She missed nursing but continued to enjoy her creative side, painting, and drawing. She found peace in the sunshine, waves, and salty air. Her favorite place to be was at the beach with her family. She also found peace in the Lord and knew that He is her savior.

She will be missed beyond measure.
