LEXINGTON – A graveside service for Laurens D. Carter, 36, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Lexington Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to Ruff’s Chapel, Ridgeway, SC 29130.
Ms. Carter was born November 25, 1980 in Columbia, SC and passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017. She was a daughter of James A. McGraw III and Frances Johnson McGraw. Ms. Carter was a loving CNA and former beauty advisor at Walgreens. She loved to draw. She especially loved her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Hooker; parents; sister, Mary McGraw Smith (Adam) and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Casey Carter.
