WEST COLUMBIA – Memorial services for Nora Lena H. McKenzie will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the family home.
Mrs. McKenzie was born January 19, 1950 and passed away on Friday, October 4, 2013. She was retired from Aflac Group, as Vice President of Claims. She loved animals especially her dogs, enjoyed music and the great outdoors.
Mrs. McKenzie is survived by her husband, Walter McKenzie; brother, Thomas Heyward, brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Pam McKenzie; nieces, Cheryl, Nikki and Sarah; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Carol Smith; niece and nephew Jason and Amanda Brazel, nieces, Jerica and Janessa Heyward; nephew, Joey Heyward; great niece, Tori Brazel granddaughter, Jessica Munch-Dittmar (Stephen). Predeceased are her parents, Thomas F and Ella Nora Walton Heyward and daughter, Emily Munch.
