Leo was a Rochester firefighter for 32 years and a hospital volunteer from AZ to SC after retiring.
He is survived by his children, Richard Hess (Carmen), Karen Hess, Ronald Hess (Joyce), and Sharon Agro (Sa) along with grandchildren, great grandchildren, brother John Hess (Betty) and sister Shirley Sage, many nieces and nephews.
Leo was predeceased by brothers Frank Hess and William Hess, sister Marilyn Salamone and grandson Jeremy Hess.
Memorial service will be December 12th at 11:00 am in the Main Chapel at the Resurrection Garden mausoleum at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612. Enter through the Dewey Ave gate.
