During her career, Linda worked as a bookkeeper for various Columbia accounting firms and institutions such as: Still Hopes Episcopal Retirement Community, Spring Valley Country Club and The Three Rivers Health Agency. Mrs. Bruce was an avid quilter, painter and for the last twenty years, was the owner of Bead Bliss. She has served as President of Palmetto Painters, Logan Lap Quilters and Greater Columbia Quilters. She was a teacher of beading, painting and quilting to many local crafters.
Mrs. Bruce is survived by her husband, Thomas Osborne Bruce; sons, Shane Edward Bruce of Lexington, SC and Dr. Travis Osborne Bruce (Elizabeth); grandson, Dean Osborne Bruce; granddaughter, Astrid Elise Bruce all of Holly Springs, NC; her sister, Karen Lott (Elmer Lott) of Greenville, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Woodridge Memorial Park.
