
LEXINGTON – A memorial service for Louise A. Hallman will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, Lexington, SC, conducted by Reverend David Anderson of Greene Street United Methodist Church and assisted by Dr. Pete Cassidy of Cayce Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service in Woodridge Memorial Park Cemetery, Corley Mill Road, Lexington.
Mrs. Hallman, widow of Holley L. Hallman, died on Wednesday, April 27, 2016. She was the daughter of Charlie George Areheart and Lucretia Shull Areheart. She is survived by a son, William (Bill), wife Louise of Blythewood, SC; daughters, Judy (Bill) Swygert of Winnsboro, SC; Rebecca (Bob) Hancock of Cayce, SC: and Pat (Johnny) Driggers of Ridgeville, SC; brother, David E. (Bonnie) Areheart of Lexington; grandchildren, Lucy Rebecca Bowers, Alice Faith Curtiss, and Patrick Worthington Driggers, as well as nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Willie Adam Areheart and Charlie Geiger Areheart of Lexington; her sister, Catherine Elizabeth Huffstetler of Edmund, SC; her grandson, Brian Andrew Gaskin of Lexington; her beloved pet dog, "Peppie” and favorite pet cat “Mimi”.
The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to special caregiver Betty Robinson for her two years of devoted and unfailing care.
