Services for Dr. Malkiat Singh Guram will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.
Dr. Guram was born on January 4, 1928 in Village Guram Punjab, India. He emigrated to the United States in 1967. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, teacher, mentor, and humanitarian whose lifelong principle was service to His Savior and fellow man.
He will be remembered most for his devotion to his family and unwavering belief in the American Dream. He truly believed that with hard work and perseverance anything was possible in this country that he loved so dearly.
He is survived by his wife, Malwinder Kaur; sons, Apjinder Singh, Surbjinder Singh, and Mukhbinder Singh; daughters in law, Bonita Moore, Davinder Kaur, and Satvinder Kaur; grandsons, Gurjeet Singh, Mandev Singh, and Jasdeep Singh; granddaughters, Jennifer Nicole, Sukhvinder Kaur, and Mavinder Kaur; and great granddaughters, Averie and Eva Porter.
