Margaret M. Koon, age 77, of Clinton, South Carolina passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. She was born on September 23, 1946 in Newberry, SC to the late Mildred Johnson Miller and Berley L. Miller, Sr.
Margaret retired in 2008 after working 36 years as a program analyst for the SC National Guard. She was a member of Red Bank United Methodist Church. Margaret loved to cook, travel, and was very family oriented.
She is survived by her brothers, Lovick “Pete” Miller (Carla) and Berley L. Miller, Jr. (Lavada); and her nephews, Michael Shane Miller, Jason Lee Miller, John Kent Miller, William Cameron Miller, Zachary Lee Wente, and William Daniel Miller.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her brother, William L. Miller, and her life partner, Harold M. Caldwell, who was the love of her life for 37 years.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home – Lexington Chapel, 503 North Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29072, with visitation to follow.
