COLUMBIA - Marilyn Meetze Brabham, 74, of Columbia, SC, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on August 29, 2016. She was born in Columbia, SC, to the late Roland Franklin Meetze, Sr. and Birdie Kleckley Meetze. Marilyn is survived by her loving son, Jason M. Brabham and his wife, Jillian, and brother, Donald K. (Gloria) Meetze. She also leaves behind her late brother's wife, Margaret H. Meetze, as well as many loving nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jerry D. Brabham; sisters, Joyce M. Lindler and Yvonne M. Rodgers (Clarence) and her brother, Roland Franklin Meetze, Jr. The family will receive friends at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Irmo on Saturday, September 3, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. at the church followed by a graveside service. In lieu of flowers, Jason and Jill request memorials be made to Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Marilyn's memory. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
