Mrs. Owens was the daughter of Genevia Hutto, of Lexington. She retired from Travelers Insurance Company. She loved to read, crochet, cook and spend time with family and friends. She was a lifetime member of Lexington Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Jonathan Michael Owens; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Elaine Owens (Arndt); grandchildren: Jordan Alexa, Mason Ryder, Benjamin Jacob, Sumer Nicole, and Jeramy Dupree, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas B. Owens (Bill); son, Thomas B. Owens Jr. (Billy); mother, Genevia Hutto (Ivey) and brother, James Hoyt Hutto.
A graveside service for Marjorie will be held Monday, August 21, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Lexington Memorial Cemetery, 1772-1782 West Main Street, Lexington, South Carolina 29072. Following the graveside service will be a visitation.
