LEXINGTON – A memorial service for Martha Taylor Haygood, 73, of Lexington, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church. Memorials may be made to St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, 119 N. Church St., Lexington, SC 29072.
Mrs. Haygood was born February 22, 1943 in Lexington, SC and passed away Friday, October 7, 2016. She was a daughter of the late Julian M. Taylor and Myrtice Asbill Taylor. Mrs. Haygood was a member of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Heather H. Coats (Keith) of Lexington, Holly H. Hains of Atlanta, GA; sister, Peggy T. Harman of Smyrna, GA; grandchildren, Molly G. Coats, Marey L. Coats and Mia B. Coats, all of Lexington. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas C. Haygood, Jr. and sisters, Ophelia Taylor Roddey, Daphne Taylor Bennett and Juliene Taylor Chism.
