She was a native of Orangeburg, South Carolina and moved to Columbia to attend Droughton Business College as a young woman. She spent most of her life in Columbia where she raised her family. She worked with her husband, Lawrence F. Accordini to build A & P Electric Service, Inc., which has served the Columbia area for fifty-one years. She retired from A&P in 1986 in order to care for her husband after his stroke. Mrs. Accordini was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence F. Accordini; her parents, Marion G. Mary also loved words and was excellent in completing crossword puzzles and playing Scrabble. Her family will remember her as being neat as a pin, having a great sense of humor and a wonderful laugh. She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed. Don, Joanne, Vicki and Grandchildren:
My thought and prayers are with you all. I know "Ack", Mama and Daddy welcomed her with open arms. They always had so much fun together.
It's so hard to let them go even though, we know they are in a better place.
Cherish all the wonderful memories. No can ever take these away.

To JoAnn and the Chastain family, Don, Vicki and the Accordini Family;
I was sorry to hear about the passing of Aunt Mary. What a life and what a dedicated family to care for her in her time of need. The memories are many - going to their home in W Cola and Uncle Ack letting Country and the boys drive around the pond on the golf cart. The Sister Lunches - were such a treat and how Mama would save the date on her calendar for sister time. What a family!! Then going to the lake with Aunt Helen, Uncle Jack, Aunt Mary, and Uncle Ack for them to go out and fish at night. It was always a time with laughter and love. Her suffering is no more and our Savior has welcomed her home to her heavenly family. I am sure Uncle Ack was there to kiss and hug her tight, her parents welcomed her and then the sisters and brothers were in line next. I am sorry that I can't be there today, but please know that you are in our thoughts. Daddy will do his best to be there. We send you our love, prayers, and thoughts.

We were privileged to have known Mary briefly, mainly as Cameron's grandma. We are grateful for her obvious love for her family and for her influence in Cameron's and Tricia's lives.

It was a privilege to have Mary with us in our home these years. She was a noble woman and we got to watch her faith in Christ grow and mature through the years. The benefit of having your mom (for Jo) and grand-mom (for our eight children) was immeasurable. We will miss her presence, but she is now with Jesus. It can't get better than that so she wouldn't return even if she could.
