CHAPIN – Funeral services for Mary E. Riser Boland, 91, will be held at 2:00 Monday, September 26, 2011 in the New Life Chapel at the Heritage at Lowman with interment in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery at Little Mountain, SC. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service in the Daily Life Center at the Lowman Home. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Boland was born January 21, 1920 in Chapin, SC and passed away on Friday, September 23, 2011. She was a daughter of the late Nolan E. Riser and Lottie Frick Riser. She was a member of Reformation Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Boland is survived by her husband of seventy-three years, Arthur Clyde Boland; sons, Rev. Arthur Glenn Boland (Carole) of Blythewood, SC and James Clyde Boland (Jan) of Cartersville, GA; grandchildren, Lane Boland of Baltimore, MD, Daniel Boland of Gilbert, SC and Christopher Boland of West Columbia and brother, Burton Riser of Hopewell, VA. She was predeceased by her sisters, Annie Lee Counts and Margaret Pool.
