

LEXINGTON – A memorial service for Mary Alice MacIntyre, 90, will be held at 3:00 on Saturday August 22, 2015 at The United Church in Oak Ridge Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 pm Saturday, August 22, 2015 at the United Church. The Church is located at 85 Kentucky Ave. Oak Ridge, TN, 37830. Interment will be at Oak Ridge Memorial Park on Sunday in a private ceremony.
Mrs. MacIntyre was born February 8, 1925 in Birmingham, AL and passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015 in Lexington, SC. She was the daughter of the late, James Ozier and Eula Gammage Ozier. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She lived in Oak Ridge, TN for over 60 years and worked for 35 years as a Chemist at the Oak Ridge Gaseous Diffusion Plant. She volunteered with Oak Ridge Hospital, Contact Teleministries and Tri-County Literacy Council in Oak Ridge, TN. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, hiking and crocheting.
Mrs. MacIntyre is survived by her husband of 60 years, Stanton MacIntyre, Sr. of Lexington; her children, Lawrence MacIntyre (Rhonda) of Knoxville, TN, Stanton MacIntyre, Jr. of Raleigh, NC and Laura Thomas (Frank) of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Kara MacIntyre, Zach MacIntyre, Evan MacIntyre, Whitley MacIntyre, Richard Thomas and Austin Thomas; her brother, Clarence Ozier of Tuscaloosa, AL and sister, Jimmie Justice of Oak Hill, FL. She is predeceased by her sisters, Dorothy Ozier Eddins, Leona Miller, Mildred Hamerka and brother, Alfred Ozier.
