LEXINGTON – Mary Nell Browder, born in Newberry, SC, on August 17, 1922, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2012, at the age of 90, after an extended illness. Wife of the late James “Dinkie” Nelson Browder, Jr. and daughter of the late Colie and Naomi Bauknight.
She was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church and the Agape Sunday School Class of Red Bank Baptist Church.
Mrs. Browder is survived by her loving daughter, Patricia (Robert) Smith of Windsor, SC; brother, Earl Colie Bauknight of Columbia, SC; daughter-in-law, Melinda Browder of West Columbia, SC; 14 grandchildren; 26 great- grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased in death by her husband, James “Dinkie” Nelson Browder, Jr.; sons, Wayne Gregory Browder and James Nelson Browder III.
Memorials can be made to the SC Heart Association.
Visitation will be on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Red Bank Baptist Church and funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
