

LEXINGTON – Matthew Kurt Coleman, 44, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2011. Matthew was born in Kansas City, MO on August 31, 1967. He was the son of Jane Crow and Gary L. Coleman. Matthew was the closing manager for Homeowner’s Mortgage in Columbia, SC and was a member of Lexington Presbyterian Church. Matthew attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX for an undergraduate degree in History and attended graduate school at the University of South Carolina.
Matthew is survived by his wife, Nina Washick Coleman; his two young daughters, Anna Kathryn “Katie” Coleman and Ellary Susann Coleman; his son, Garrett Neil Coleman; his mother, Jane Crow; father, Gary L. Coleman; step father, Dr. Martin L. Crow; three sisters, Lisa L. Coleman, Kerri Anderson and Rebecca “Becky” Clem and a brother, Lou Crow. He is predeceased by his step mother, Rhonda Coleman and his brother, Allen Crow.
The family would like to thank the staff at South Carolina Oncology and the oncology nurses and attendants at Lexington Medical Center for their care and kindness.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Lexington Presbyterian Church with visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the church.
