LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Mavis Shull Roberts, 97, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at 1:30 p.m. in the social hall.
Mrs. Roberts was born March 28, 1916 in Lexington and passed away on Friday, September 6, 2013.
She was the daughter of the late Wade Pierce Shull and Marie Eulilla Kaminer.
Surviving are her daughters, Jeanette Swygert and Marie Moore (Charles); grandson, David Swygert (Joyce); granddaughters, Joye M. Johnson (Boyd), Judy M. Ball (Wayne); great-grandchildren, John Swygert, Ashley B. Riser (Robbie), LeeAn B. Courtnay (Stan), Kristen J. Archambeau (Beau) and Garrett Johnson; two great-great-grandchildren Evie and Callie Riser. Mrs. Roberts was predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years Lewis W. Roberts; two brothers, a sister and two grandchildren. Memorials may be made to St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, 119 N. Church St. Lexington, SC 29072.
