LEESVILLE – Funeral services for Melissa Baker Taylor, 44, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 20, 2012 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with interment in Lexington Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Mrs. Taylor was born June 2, 1967 in Columbia, SC and passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2012. She was a daughter of Donald McCloskey and Paula Baker.
Melissa is survived by her mother and father; children, Tabitha Carter, Stephanie Gartman, John Taylor and Kimberly Brooke Taylor; sisters, Melinda Martin and Teresa Baker; five grandchildren; numerous nieces; nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Ray Taylor.
Melissa was a proud mother and grandmother and she loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She will be missed by all her family and friends.
