Funeral services for Naomi S. Black, 103,
will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home Lexington Chapel with interment to follow in Pilgrim Lutheran Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2012 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.
Mrs. Black was born December 6, 1908 in High Point, N.C. and passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Charlie Jason Sox and Annie C. Sox of Lexington. Mrs. Black was a devoted member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Black is survived by her
daughter-in-law, Betty Black; granddaughter, Sharon Terry of FL, Karen Mc Cracker of MD; grandsons, Allen and Michael Black of Lexington, Chris Terry of TX; great-granddaughters, Jennifer Terry of FL; Meghan Mc Cracker of MD, Carly Mc Cracker of MD, and Cyndi Black of SC; great-grandson, Chris Terry of TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Black was predeceased by her husband, Erskine Black; son, Richard Black both of Lexington, sisters, Lila Mae Horick and Ruth Boozer; brothers Jason Sox and Ernest Sox.
