COLUMBIA – Nisheeth Vora, 78, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2013. He was a lifelong teacher; a college professor who had a second career in technical education with AT&T/NCR. After retiring he continued his commitment to encouraging intellectual pursuit as a bookseller with Barnes & Noble.
Nish (Nick) is survived by his wife, Christine Vora; daughters, Julie Murphy of Dallas, Kalindi Vora of San Diego and Sonja Moskal of Columbia; a son, Alexander Vora of Columbia, and seven grandchildren. He was a dreamer and a philosopher who enriched the lives of those who knew him.
