Norman was a veteran of the US Navy and chief of security for the VA hospitals in Columbia, Texas, and California. He was also a deputy coroner in Richland County. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and playing cards.
He is survived by his step-daughter, Tiffany Drake; brother, Vernon Seibert (Kathy) of West Columbia; and sisters-in-law, Belinda Beard of Lexington and Sue Beard of Canada; and grandchildren: Hunter, Bradley, Mason, Wesley and McKenzie.
He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Sheila Seibert; and twelve siblings.
A graveside service will be held for Norman at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, December 12th, 2023 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to Trinity Baptist Church of Cayce, 2003 Charleston Highway, Cayce, SC 29033.
