

Patricia "Pat" Luketich, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and dedicated educator, passed away peacefully at her home in West Columbia, South Carolina, on October 17, 2025, with her loving husband at her side. She was 81 years old.
Born on September 7, 1944, in Dover, Ohio, Pat carried a spirit of warmth and unwavering kindness throughout her life. After moving to South Carolina, she found her calling in education, serving for many years as a respected advisor at Midland Tech College. Her passion for helping students navigate their academic and career paths left a lasting impact on countless lives, and she retired with the knowledge that she had truly made a difference.
Beyond her professional life, Pat had a deep and abiding love for animals. She found immense joy and freedom in riding horses, a cherished pastime that connected her to the outdoors. Her loyal canine companions were also a constant source of comfort and happiness, filling her home with unconditional love.
Pat was a devoted member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in West Columbia, where her faith was a guiding light and where she found fellowship and spiritual nourishment within her community.
She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Luketich of West Columbia; her son, Robert Ladrach of Raleigh, North Carolina; her sister, Linda Attela of Denver, Colorado; four cherished step-children from her marriage to Thomas; and several grandchildren who brought immense joy to her later years.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, 503 N. Lake Dr., Lexington, SC. A memorial service to celebrate Pat's life will follow directly after the visitation at the chapel. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her gentle spirit, loving heart, and the memories shared will forever be treasured.
