Ms. Rankin is survived by her brother, Robert Evans Stone; her son, Michael Carlyle Rankin (Dianne); granddaughters, Courtney R. Springs, Jordan N. Rankin and great grandson, Connor.
She was predeceased by her parents; brother, Lorenzo Donald Stone; sister, Delories Stone Rauch, and beloved husband, Carlyle V. Rankin.
She worked as a Dental Assistant in Dentistry for many years. Later in life, she became an assistant at the South Carolina Baptist Convention working in Discipleship Training and Stewardship, from which she retired.
Her funeral services will be held Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends at 2:00 pm and the service will follow at 3:00. There will be no graveside service.
