LEXINGTON – Patricia (Pat) Sears went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 1, 2019. She was the wife of Jim Sears. They were blessed with 53 wonderful years of marriage, a loving family, and great friends.

Pat was born on July 23, 1948 in Columbia, SC. She was the daughter of the late Ira and Margaret Sowell. Pat graduated from Dreher High School and went on to raise two beautiful daughters.

She was a long time member of Lexington Baptist Church, Lexington Woman’s Club, The Red Hat Society, and she was a loving wife and mother. I was so sorry to hear of Pat’s home going! She and I shared so many good times in our kindergarten class! Pat always added the calm to our class and the children loved her!! She was such a good friend to me and we shared many laughs together as we loved on all the children. We will be praying for Jim and all the family during these difficult days. Heaven has gained a wonderful lady! Don and Mary
