Peggy Ingram Lott, living 86 wonderful years, on June 3, 2020 went to her eternal home. She is experiencing the joys of Heaven and is reunited with her husband of 64 years, William Bradford Lott, who preceded her in receiving God's glory just 27 days before on May 7, 2020.
She was born in Duck Hill, MS September 5, 1933 to Forrest and Lula Ingram and graduated from Duck Hill High School. She and her mother attended Grenada Hospital School of Nursing, graduating together in the class of 1954.
She was an accomplished seamstress, spending time sewing, quilting and smocking. She enjoyed baking, canning and loved flowers and most of all loved sharing flowers. She loved all birds and animals but especially her dogs, grand dogs and cats.
She worshiped and enjoyed fellowship at Lexington United Methodist Church. She volunteered at a local interfaith agency that assisted families in need. She was consistent in her concern, care and friendship of home bound friends and individuals requiring continuous care. For over 40 years, she visited local care facilities, homes and hospitals usually with flowers and a handcrafted pillow; when she could not visit, she was busy sending cards and making phone calls.
Survivors include children, Mark Lott and his wife, Evelyn of Florence, Marsha Sumner and her husband, Paul of Chapin, Susan Lott of Lancaster, and Dana Tucker and her husband, Craig of Greenville; grandchildren, Kellen and Taylor Lott, Adam, his wife, Adryn and Alan Sumner, and Caroline and Brad Tucker; great grandchild, Caz Sumner; her sister, Joan Taylor, husband, Fred of MS; as well as wonderful nieces, devoted nephews and dear friends.
