
LEXINGTON – A graveside service for Philip Larry King, 65, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 16, 2012 in Bush River Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Memorials may be made in memory of Philip King to the Stephen Ministry, 309 E. Main Street, Lexington, SC 29072.
Mr. King was born in Anderson, SC on August 11, 1947 and passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2012. He was a son of the late Joseph B. King, Sr. and Winifred Chappelear King. Mr. King was a faithful Christian and a member of Lexington Baptist Church. He was a sales Representative with Pitney Bowes. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Mr. King is survived by his daughters, Christy Steelman (David) of Lexington, McKenzie Richardson (Web) of Pawleys Island; brothers, Ted King (Chris) of Irmo and Joe King (Janet) of Snellville, GA; grandchildren, Laiklyn, Dawson and Baylor Richardson and Payton and Brayden Steelman.
