Priscilla H. Shealy

She was the 5th of 6 children in her family. She grew up in Danville, VA and graduated from high school in 1962. On May 19, 1968, she married Ronald Shealy and moved to Wilson, NC. In October, they had their first son, Craig, and shortly afterwards, moved to West Columbia, SC. In November of 1971, they had their second son, Neal. She was a stay-at-home mom until the mid 80s when she went to work to help out the family. Her last job was with Bank of America where she worked for 20 years before retiring in 2006. She enjoyed cooking, camping, and making crafts for everyone. She was a long-time member of the Columbia First SDA church in Lexington. She also helped substitute teach some at the church school where her sons attended. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to those who knew her. We look forward to the day when Jesus comes again and will see her at the resurrection.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, English and Ada Hutson; sisters Golden Bryant, Frances Ferguson, Florine Guinells, and Alice Raffa; brother English Hutson Jr., and a half brother Lee Setliff.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Shealy of Lexington; sister Opal (Phillip) Pullium of Greensboro, NC; son Craig (Debie) Shealy of Elgin, SC, and Neal Shealy of Lexington; and 3 grandsons, Jake (Craig), Josh (Craig), and Jack (Craig) Shealy.

A visitation for Priscilla will be held Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home - Lexington Chapel, 503 North Lake Drive, Lexington, South Carolina 29072. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 1:00 PM at Celestial Memorial Gardens, 3111 Delree Street, West Columbia, South Carolina 29170.
